Just a little walk around the park to get us out of the house, just me, my boys and the ducks!

Connor loves to run... Any and everywhere he can! He just loves having space to fill!

Logan was almost asleep but Connor loved the ducks, when they came right up to the pram his face was a picture! He is so adventurous and excitable I love it! We were only in the park just over an hour and the poor lad had run himself, and me, ragged...he straight up the stairs when we got home!

How do They get on?

Posted by Unknown at 13:23:00 0 comments

People ask me this a lot, and when Logan was new it was hard trying to make Connor understand that he wasn't a toy and he couldn't play with him how he wanted to. At times Connor can still get a bit rough, Logan is still little and doesn't comprehend toys the same way Connor does but he is getting there, and at can take his big brother on like the best of them, mainly using the hair pull tactic, apparently he can't get enough of those golden locks! It's boss now Logan is a little more independent, sitting up and really interested in playing, it seems to of created this whole new bond between him and Connor as brother and I love watching their relationship develop. The two of them genuinely seem to enjoy each others company and love it that the other is there.

Back to Work.

I started back at work this week! Such good timing I know! My first day was the day after we moved to the new house, and I was to start at seven AM! I was pretty nervous, mainly to do with the fact that the entire computer system had changed whilst I was away! I had also only been back three months between each maternity leave so I thought it may take me a while to get back into the throws of it!

And of course it meant leaving Connor and Logan for a full eight hour shift! Needless to say I missed them like crazy! I was constantly checking my phone waiting for a message from Grandma to tell me she had had enough, gone mad and left them to their own devices! Of course she never would and when we were reunited I don't really know if they had noticed I had been gone all that long but it felt like forever to me and doing that twice a week is way enough!

Being in work was like I had never been away, same place, a lot of the same faces and, although I did just want to be at home with my babies I did rather enjoy the freedom of not having a sidekick when nipping the loo or having to share my lunch with any little mouths! In all seriousness I think it's important to keep some connection to the outside world when you become a mum, for me anyway I can go to work for a break, some time to be myself with other adults, it helps me remember who I am other than just "mum", that doesn't mean I don't miss the boys, after a shift is over I can't wait to see them and I would still choose being at home with them over anything but I have to work so I may as well use the time I am there to fill my non-baby talk social needs whilst I am earning a crust!

Fathers Day 2013.

Posted by Unknown at 17:24:00 0 comments

Nothing huge planned for Father's Day, we went for breakfast, and spent the day just chilled all together! My favourite kind of day! I also organised the boys for these photos for Daddy to keep! It took me a whole morning and these were the best I could get! Neither of the boys would sit still long enough together to get any better and Connor wouldn't sit at all without that darn dummy!

(They are still super cuties though!)

One Half.

Logan has hit 6 months old! He is amazing! Growing fast and strong, sitting up solo and almost ready to crawl!he loves his grub, as you can probably tell and is such a happy little monster.

He always has been a good sleeper, now more than ever he sleeps from around half seven each night and rarely wakes till morning, and with Connor doing the same Mummy and Daddy can get some, well needed, shut eye!
